Join a select group of CISOs, CIOs and senior cybersecurity, identity, risk and technology executives from across the Dallas–Fort Worth area for an invitation-only evening of cocktails, dinner and candid, moderated peer discussion.
The CxO Security Forum was created around a simple idea: senior executives still value getting together with their peers — particularly when the conversation is useful, the group is thoughtfully curated, and nobody is waiting to sell them something. ~20 executives. One table of issues. No vendor-dinner nonsense.
We’ll begin with cocktails and informal conversation in Lamberti’s back bar/lounge, followed by dinner in the private room and a moderated discussion focused on the issues occupying the minds of security leaders right now.
George Finney is a CISO, author, speaker, professor and consultant who has spent nearly 20 years helping organizations strengthen cybersecurity — with a particular focus on Zero Trust, security culture and the human side of cyber risk.
He is the author of Project Zero Trust, Well Aware, No More Magic Wands and other books exploring cybersecurity strategy, culture and behavior.
George will join our executive discussion and every attending executive will receive a complimentary copy of Project Zero Trust — with the opportunity to have it personally signed by George during the evening.
Identity is changing — quickly. For years, IAM largely meant managing people. Today, security leaders are responsible for a rapidly expanding population of service accounts, workloads, machine identities and increasingly autonomous AI agents — many with persistent privileges, unclear ownership and access relationships that were never designed for this world.
Rather than a sequence of presentations, we’ll use a few provocative questions to get the room talking. Among them:
The agenda stays deliberately flexible — the goal is to surface the two or three conversations the executives in the room actually want to have. The evening operates under the Chatham House Rule: no attribution outside the room, no attendee lists shared, no badge scanning.
CISOs • CIOs • CTOs • Deputy CISOs • Heads of Cybersecurity • Heads of Identity • Risk Executives • Security Architecture Leaders • Fraud & Trust Leaders
Participation is invitation-only and limited to roughly 20 senior leaders to maintain the quality of the discussion. Contact information is never distributed to sponsors or other attendees.
This Forum is supported by Ambient Security — AI-native identity security built for the agentic era, spanning human, non-human and AI identities. Ambient is helping make the evening possible and will participate in the discussion alongside the executive community.
Consistent with the CxO Security Forum model, this is not a product-pitch dinner. Our supporting partners are selected because they contribute useful expertise and perspective to the conversation while respecting the practitioner-led nature of the Forum.
CxO Security Forum began as a response to a common frustration among senior cybersecurity leaders: the way enterprise solutions are marketed, sold, and evaluated is fundamentally broken. What started as a call for change has grown into a trusted community that puts executive practitioners at the center of the conversation.
We bring together CISOs, CIOs, and senior decision-makers who are responsible for protecting their organizations, guiding strategic risk, and navigating the evolving role of AI in security. Every forum, gathering, and conversation is designed to foster education, mentoring, and authentic peer connection.
What makes us different is our focus on relationships. Our events are intentionally small, curated, and built for real dialogue. Sponsors are carefully selected, and there are no product pitches. Participants come for thoughtful, actionable conversations that support both professional development and practical decision-making.
At CxO Security Forum, the goal is simple. Give experienced leaders a space to learn from one another, to share insight, and to build meaningful connections that last beyond the event itself.
Participation is free for qualified senior executives
